Cinderella

■ Award-winning lead Cape Town City Ballet (CTCB) Ballerina Laura Bosenberg from Green Point will once again star as Cinderella in the upcoming season of Veronica Paeper’s ballet that opens at Artscape on Friday October 5 for a limited season. Laura, trained by Natalie Swanepoel, joined CTCB in 2004 and became the company’s senior srincipal in 2014, dancing the lead in the major classics such as The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and other works. Her career highlights include national and international touring with CTCB and guesting with the South African Ballet Theatre, Joburg Ballet and the Duchy Ballet in Cornwall, England. She has worked with numerous well known choreographers from SA and abroad such as John Neumeier, Rudu van Danzing, Adele Blank, Marc Goldberg and Sean Bovim, who’s popular Swingtime will be presented by CTCB this festive season. Cinderella is from Friday October 5 to Sunday October 28 with an all star cast accompanied by the Cape Town Philharmonic at select performances. Book through Artscape Dial a Seat or Computicket.
