André Schwartz and Coenie de Villiers are collaborating in a show called Grensloos at Theatre On The Bay from Friday July 19 to Sunday July 21.
André promises to deliver all the fan favourites, including Anthem from the musical Chess, Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera as well as his radio treffers, Ek Wil Jou Nooit Weer Sien, Lief Vir Alles Hier and a track from his latest release entitled Die Pad, which is due out on July 19.
Coenie de Villiers will perform hits such as Daar’s ‘n Plek and Karoonag.
André, who was diagnosed with motor neuron disease in April last year, is determined that Grensloos, an Afrikaans word meaning without borders, is an experience that would cross boundaries and borders.
“There are wonderful but less well-known songs from France and Holland in the show. We sing some of our own compositions as well as a few that have never been heard before by our fans,” says André.
The shows start at 8pm on Friday and Saturday and at 3pm on Sunday.
Tickets range from R150 to R250 and are available from Computicket and the Theatre On The Bay box office on 021 438 3301.
