An exhibition of works by artist William Kentridge will be hosted in two locations at the same time from Saturday August 24 to March 2020. The venues are the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) at the V&A Waterfront and the Norval Foundation in Steenberg. Over 40 years of artistic production in drawing, stop-frame animation, video, prints, sculpture, tapestry, video and large-scale installation will be part of Why Should I Hesitate? Putting Drawings To Work, at Zeitz MOCAA. The three-dimensional work of Kentridge from the past 19 years will be presented in Why Should I Hesitate? Sculpture at the Norval Foundation. The exhibitions will also be accompanied by a series of talks and performances with the artist and leading voices in the cultural sector. Contact the Zeitz MOCAA on 087 350 4777, info@zeitzmocaa.museum or visit www.zeitzmocaa.museum/ for more information.
