The international show Stomp heads to the Artscape from Wednesday September 11 to Sunday September 22. Stomp finds beauty and music in the mundane. It turns brooms into instruments and hand-clapping into a conversation; the junk and clutter of urban life becomes the source of rhythm and the performers take the audience on a journey through sound. Eight synchronised Stomp performers, create music with an assortment of items including truck inner tubes, rubber hosing, Zippo lighters, plastic bags, metal dustbins, bin lids, tubs and even the kitchen sink. Tickets cost from R150 to R400. Book through Computicket. Â
