Animal champs are cycling for the strays

Vernon Rudman of Somerset West, Liza Vivier of Table View, Viv Schulze of Newlands and David Mitchley of Somerset West will be cycling in the three-day Wines2Whales mountain bike endurance race to raise funds for the SPCA. With Liza is Tyrah, a young female Africanis pup found in very neglected state; and with David is Barney, an adult male Labrador cross.

Animal champions, Somerset West residents Vernon Rudman and David Mitchley, Table View’s Liza Vivier, and Newlands resident Viv Schulze are getting geared up to take on Wines2Whales three-day mountain bike endurance race to raise funds for the SPCA.

The four riders will cycle in teams of two, with Liza and Vernon riding the FNB Wines2Whales Chardonnay MTB event from Friday to Sunday November 5 to 7; and Viv and David riding the FNB Wines2Whales Pinotage MTB event from Monday to Wednesday November 8 to 10.
