The Gugulethu Tenors, five-piece instrumental band Mr Cat and the Jackal, and Afrikaans Bellville rockers Fokofpolisiekar rocked the free Concert in the Park at De Waal Park in Oranjezicht on Sunday March 4. The next concert at De Waal Park, on Sunday March 18, will feature Freshlyground, The Rudimentals, and Skyscrapers. The last concert for the year will take place on Sunday April 8, with Prime Circle, Crimson House and Mark Haze on the line-up. Charles Bowman, director of Concerts in the Park, thanked the bands who performed as well as those who attended.
