Andrew Emdon, Three Anchor Bay
The article “Construction inconvenience” (Atlantic Sun, March 15) refers .
I just want to air a few points about this particular development and other ongoing developments in the Sea Point area.
Scholtz Road is a Cul du Sac .The developer has had no thought process regarding the research normally conducted, regarding traffic flow and possible dangerous congestion.
Council building parameter norms have dropped. The rules have changed for the worse, all favouring the developers’ whims. Buildings can be built with aesthetic appeal and with regard to existing homes. Unfortunately, this is not happening. One wonders why?
There is a deterioration of standards with no consideration for the environment or the people living along side these developments
In other words the developers are getting away with the ruination and strangulation of our suburb.
