Embarrassed by dog owners

I am a resident of Camps Bay and was absolutely thrilled when we were at last allowed to take our dogs out for exercise.

We usually walk on the beach where most – not all – owners pick up their dog waste. I am appalled and embarrassed to be a dog owner when I see the amount of dog faeces on our pavements. Why the shift in mentality?
