There was great excitement at the Preparatory Campus of Camps Bay Primary School as 80 Grade 1s started their 12-year journey at Camps Bay Schools. Principal, Stuart Collier, said this year they have 80 pupils in three Grade 1 classes and the first day of school was more exciting than ever as the Expresso Morning Show on SABC3 decided to broadcast live from its campus. “Our motto is ‘As One We Grow’, and it is wonderful to see children grow and develop over the years,” he said. Ms Collier said the top five students for the matric class of 2018 all started their schooling at the school which was a testament to the solid foundation they received.
