Four apartments were destroyed by fire in Gardens earlier this morning.
The City’s Fire & Rescue Service were called out to the scene at 3:35am in Kloof Street.
It took firefighters four hours to contain the fire.
Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson Jermaine Carelse said: “Four apartments on the 5th floor were gutted and one on the 6th floor sustained minimal damages.”
No injuries were reported.
