Parliament’s portfolio committee on justice and correctional services, on Monday, called for comments on a bill that seeks to amend the constitution and recognise South African sign language as one of the country’s official languages.
Comments need to be submitted by no later than Saturday February 25.
There are currently 11 official languages in the country.
