On Sunday October 6, The Hope Exchange in Roeland Street partnered with Souper Troopers to host a social event to mark World Homeless Day which is commemorated annually on October 10. The aim is to draw attention to the needs of street people and at Sunday’s event homeless people from around the city were treated to a warm meal, cakes and juice, haircuts and could also sign up to play soccer.
