A man has been reunited with his family after having fallen on hard times and ending up homeless in Three Anchor Bay.

Due to his situation, he found himself sleeping in his car which had broken down.

Law enforcement officers in Sea Point and a field worker from the Sea Point community police forum (CPF) re-established connections between the man and his family.

A local doctor stepped in and offered to pay for the towing of the vehicle to Maitland.

The man and his car, which was precious to him, are back home with his family.
