The majority of the inner-city and Hout Bay and Hangberg routes are not operational today due to Covid-19.
The vehicle operating company (VOC) operating 101 Vredehoek to Civic (clockwise), 104 Oranjezicht to Sea Point, 105 Sea Point via Fresnaye to Civic, 108 Hangberg to Adderley, 109 Hout Bay via Imizamu Yethu to Adderley, 111 Vredehoek to Civic (anti-clockwise) and 113 Upper Kloof Street to Waterfront informed the City yesterday that the affected bus depot will be closed, following a positive test result for the coronavirus.
The VOC is working with the provincial Department of Health in terms of contact tracing, and the affected personnel have been booked off and are required to self-quarantine for 14 days.
All of the buses, and the premises and facilities, will be sanitised and decontaminated in accordance with the requisite Covid-19 health and safety protocols.Â
