Opportunity knocks for budding entrepreneurs

Applications for the Raymond Ackerman Academy Entrepreneurial Development programme, which offers budding entrepreneurs the chance to develop their skills, close on Friday February 10.

The six-month, full-time programme, which was established by Pick n Pay founder Raymond Ackerman, is offered at no cost to students and is open to applicants aged 18 to 35 with a business idea or already running a business.

The programme is run through the University of Johannesburg’s Business School and is delivered online.

After graduating, students have the option to participate in a one-year mentoring programme.
