Mouille Point resident Antony Goldie is appealing to the community to lend a hand in finding his classic shopping bicycle.
Mr Goldie said his bicycle had been stolen from his garage last week.
He said he believed the Pashley Sonnet Bliss bicycle was the only one on the Atlantic Seaboard. “It’s not available anywhere in Cape Town; I had it imported from England seven years ago,” he said.
The pensioner has made an emotional appeal to anyone who has information on his bike. He said there won’t be questions asked of anyone who returns it.
Mr Goldie said they have video footage of the perpetrators and the matter has been reported to the Sea Point SAPS but no arrests have been made yet.
Anyone with information can contact Antony Goldie on 082 509 0222 or 021 439 8916 or Sea Point police station on 021 430 3700.
