The Inkcubeko Yethu Society presented the IsiXhosa Cultural Evening at Camps Bay High School. The evening featured students from Camps Bay, Wynberg, Herschel, SACS, Rondebosch Boys’, Plumstead, Claremont, St Cyprian’s, Rustenburg, Westerford and Groote Schuur, who showcased their love for Xhosa culture with performances of umxhentso (traditional dance) and umbongo (poetry) as well as a marimba band choir.

Camps Bay Primary School entered a surfing tag team into the Surf Emporium Junior Inter-schools Tag Team Event held in Muizenberg on Friday May 10. Representing Camps Bay Primary are Willie Esterhuyse in Grade 6, Ben Esterhuyse in Grade 3, Adam Faclier in Grade 3 and Alexander Wilson in Grade 6.
Camps Bay Primary School Grade 5 pupil, Jayden Lagesse has, along with his dad, Paul, been declared the South African National Champion for Hobie 16 Sailing. The duo took part in the Hobie Cat 16 National Championship in Durban recently.
