Jazz ensemble Seba Kaapstad, who recently toured Germany, were in Cape Town last week. The group comprises Gee Hye Lee (piano), Thomas Worle (drums/electronics), Ndumiso Manana (voice), Franziska Schuster (voice), and Zoe Modiga (voice) and Sebastian Schuster (bass and composer). The group played several shows in Cape Town, including one at The Crypt and another in Tamboerskloof. The group’s members, who are from all over the world, met while studying at the UCT School of Music. The first show of their Cape Town tour took place at The Crypt on Wednesday November 23.
