I had a bag stolen from a trolley in Checkers Sea Point.
While the manager was very helpful, it became apparent that the security systems they use are really not up to scratch.
I thought people need to be warned that Checkers Sea Point has a security problem and is a risk for customers.
The manager on duty informed me that this is a regular occurrence.
The cameras in the store appear to be of very poor quality and the store does not keep a record of thefts from shoppers while shopping in the store.
Checkers Sea Point declined to comment.
