Concern is growing as the search for the woman who went missing on Table Mountain last month, continues.
Charlotte Nikoi was last seen by her family on Table Mountain on Tuesday March 21.
She climbed the mountain with her family but had started the descent alone.
Dessie Rechner of the Pink Ladies, which helps to raise awareness of missing people, said the investigation was ongoing.
“If there is anybody that might have seen her on the day, we are appealing to them to come forward.” Ms Nikoi, a Ghanaian national known to her family and friends as Nana Yaa, was on the Platteklip Gorge when she went missing (“Search is on for missing woman”, Atlantic Sun, March 30).
Ms Nikoi, is an associate director of the United Nations International Children’s Fund (UNICEF). She is 50 years old and 1.73 metres tall.
She has short black and grey hair, a dark complexion and is of medium build.
When this edition went to print on Tuesday evening, provincial police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana said there were still no leads in the case.
