Pamela Joan Stephenson, Sea Point
Since my twin sister and I retired, we used some of our time to make a difference where we can, for those less fortunate than us. Knitting and crocheting for the underprivileged, especially during the winter months, is ongoing. However, the cost of wool can be restrictive. We are appealing to anyone who has wool tucked away gathering dust, including wool scraps – as we love mixing colours to brighten dark, cold, rainy days – to donate to our cause.
We have also knitted for 67 Blankets for Madiba which is an ongoing project. We will gladly collect donations. Please call Allen on 076 795 5566 should you be in a position to donate.
