Future cycling champ

Grade 7 Camps Bay Primary School pupil Jessie Munton, is proving to be a future cycling champ to watch. She recently took part in the Western Cape Cycling Championships and the South African National Track Championships. In the under-13 girls’ category, Jessie came first in the 27km road race and first in the 10km time trial at Western Cape Championships. She also came first in the 500m time trial and first in the Scratch Race 3000m at South African National Track Championships, and first in the 2000m team pursuit, breaking the record by 20 seconds and setting the record of 3min01sec.
