The Atlantic Sun was established in 1981. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres the Gardens Centre and Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village within its distribution area.

The Atlantic Sun is a free weekly community newspaper available in print and digital format, and is distributed to 31 500 readershomes every Thursday in the Green Point, Mouille Point, Three Anchor Bay, Sea Point, Fresnoye, Camps Bay, Bakoven, Clifton, Bantry Bay, Vredehoek, Gardens, Oranjezicht, Tamboerskloof, Devil’s Peak, Zonnebloem, High Cape, De Waterkant and Schotschekloof areas.
