Gin Affair

The Wade Bales Cap Classique & Gin Affair, now in its fifth year, is taking place at the Grand Africa Café & Beach on Saturday October 26 and Sunday October 27, from 1pm to 5pm. There will be more than 70 craft and international gins and 50 of the country’s finest Cap Classique brands. Bubblies include the likes of Boschendal, Krone, Pongracz, Plaisir de Merle, Siverthorn, Steenberg and Villiera while local and international gins include Autograph, Distillery 031, Juniper Moon, Inverroche, Tanqueray, Whitley Neill, Arbikie, Hendrick’s and Monkey 47. Tickets cost R380 and include a glass, tastings of all bubbly and gin products showcased on the day, as well as six fresh oysters.
