The V&A Waterfront and a number of local artists changed the classical narrative of Christmas decorations this year with the theme “Joy from Africa to the World”, which included a summer palace decorated with 59 beaded creatures, re-purposed Christmas trees, golden swallows made of recycled metal and an upcycled Earth globe hanging from the high ceiling.
