A 40-year old man was arrested for breaking into a container at The Haven Night Shelter in Napier Street, Green Point, last Monday, August 17.
He allegedly stole sleeping bags bought by the shelter to help homeless people as part of their winter readiness programme.
He was due to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court.
