Hundreds of dogs and their owners descended upon the Sea Point promenade to support the a dog-walk fund-raiser for the Mdzananda animal clinic in Khayelitsha.
“We had 325 dogs, one cat and 614 humans and made a profit of R45 786. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome as nearly double the amount of people and dogs arrived than our event in 2020. We are truly so grateful to all the participants, Vondi’s Holistic Pet Nutrition who partnered with us on this event and all the members of the press who helped to make this event public. Without this support we would never had such a successful event,” said Marcelle Du Plessis, the fundraising and communications executive of Mdzananda.
