Tamboerskloof-based German School (DSK) pupil Luke Pugin, bags a basket during his sides Cape Town Metro Tops Schools Basketball tournament against Pinelands, at The Settlers High in Bellville, at the weekend. DSK impressed throughout the two-day tournament, winning all their matches. The final against the Western Cape Sports School was a closely contested affair, with DSK winning 43-42. With only seven minutes remaining before the final whistle, Luke slotted home two free throws to secure victory. However, it was his brother, point guard Fabio who was named the tournaments Most Valuable Player.
