Hoërskool Jan van Riebeeck Grade 12 pupil, Cyle Smith, was the overall winner of the South African Society for History Teaching online quiz, which took place on Monday May 23. This competition is similar to the History Olympiad and focused on South African resistance history from 1948 to 1964. It is the first time that the school has participated in the competition.
