Seven Steps concert

The Seven Steps Academy for the deaf were supported by their parents at this concert.

The Seven Steps academy for the deaf held its annual concert at the Jubilee church last Friday.

Lauren Harmse, the Grade 2 and 3 teacher put together the concert, titled Our library of adventure.

“Each class performed a different song or dance for the book they represented, so they acted out the Jungle Book, Horton hears a who, Button Soup and Places you go, so the kids were excited and eager to do this,” Ms Harmse said.

The Grade 4 class from left are Rejoice Ndlovu, Tiara Manoe, Oyena Gulwa, David Jacobs, Karabo Kgolane, Anothando Nqevu, Michai Alfos, Awonke Bosman and Anela Dyonasi.
